25 Cafes in Tokyo Japan: Cinagro Organic Dining in Omotesando Tokyo

The Cinagro in Omotesando mentioned on this page has moved location. New review coming soon.

I had walked past GYRE so many times in the past and never even bothered to go inside. It honestly never really piqued my curiosity. It wasn’t until I went down to the lower level to buy some tea from Lupicia that I realised there was a really nice looking, smoke free, organic restaurant/cafe there!

25 Cafes in Tokyo Japan: Cinagro Organic Dining in Omotesando Tokyo Cinagro (which is “organic” backwards) divides it’s day up into three main phases. Lunch is served between 11am and 3pm, it transforms into more of a cafe between 3pm and 6pm and then slowly transitions into a low lit restaurant until the last order at 9pm.

There is a rather big selection of food and drinks available throughout the day, which of course will vary depending on the time that you come. I was there for “Cafe Time” and was very pleased with the variety in cakes and drinks on offer with both tasting amazing and being presented beautifully. I ordered a cake and drink for around 1000 yen and was very happy with both the quality of the food and service.

There was a bit of confusion as to which items on the menu were organic as I was kind of lead to believe that all of it was organic but then realised this wasn’t the case when I noticed that some of the items were marked as “organic”, suggesting that those that weren’t were non-organic (though still good quality).

If you find yourself in Cinagro, I highly recommend checking out the Kaldi’s Coffee Farm shop on the same floor which is a great place to buy imported food from America, Australia and other Western countries while you’re in Tokyo.

    1. I feel like I know what the answer is going to be before I even ask the question, but I will ask nonetheless: do any of these places have wifi available? If so, it would be really helpful knowing whether they do make it available for their customers.

      • Hey man! Thanks for commenting! Some of the cafes in Tokyo do have free wi-fi. You can browse cafes by feature (such as wi-fi internet, outdoor seating, etc) via the “Cafe by Feature” box on the right hand side navigation menu.
